1976: Alec Baldwin
Graduates
from Alfred G. Berner High School
Alec
Baldwin, the star of blockbuster films like
"The Hunt for Red October" and "Beetlejuice,"
was born and raised in Massapequa. Alexander
Rae Baldwin III grew up in a Cape Cod-style
house next to a golf course in the Nassau Shores
section with his three brothers, actors Daniel,
William, and Stephen, and his two sisters. He
worked at odd jobs during his high school years,
but also found time to serve as class president
during his senior year, graduating from Alfred
G. Berner High School in 1976. After studying
acting at New York University, Baldwin launched
his acting career in the soap opera "The
Doctors." He will appear in two upcoming
films, "The Cat in the Hat" and "The
Cooler," both scheduled for release in
November 2003. Baldwin is shown here in a 2001
photo and 1976 high school yearbook shot.
