The book "P.S. Be Eleven" by Rita Williams-Garcia (HarperCollins) is the outstanding sequel to "One Crazy Summer."

This is an amazing story about three sisters, Delphine, Vonetta and Fern. The story is more through Delphine's eyes and the setting is the late 1960s.

It's about three sisters who love one another, and how they really have to care for themselves in Brooklyn.

The girls learn to do their own chores and grow up and do other things together to support one another . . . and still be kids! I would recommend this book.
