Pedro Rodriguez accused of torching State Rep. Christina Ayala's car
BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police say the ex-boyfriend of a state lawmaker torched her car and a second car belonging to one of her relatives.
Pedro Rodriguez was arrested yesterday on several charges including reckless burning.
Bridgeport police say he is the ex-boyfriend of State Rep. Christina Ayala.

He is accused of burning her and her sister's cars.
One of the car fires happened on Brooks Street while the other happened on Livingston Place.
Last year, police arrested Ayala for allegedly slapping Rodriguez. Those charges were later dropped.
