A major road rehabilitation project on Main Street in Peekskill, between Route 9 and Conklin Avenue, is expected to result in periodic parking restrictions, according to a news release issued by Westchester County's public works and transportation department Friday.
The project is expected to begin Monday and be completed in the spring of 2013.
Two-way traffic will be maintained but parking restrictions will be denoted with advance warning signs, the release said.
The project will include milling and asphalt paving, pavement repairs, curb replacement, curb cuts, bus pad installation, drainage installation and repair, among other things, the release said.
Anyone with concerns about the project is asked to call Nick Rienzi at 914-447-2548. Please specify the Main Street improvements, Westchester County Contract No. 11-551.
