THE BRONX - A 16-year-old is under arrest in connection with two separate shootings this year.

Police say Jarelle Johnson fatally shot 20-year-old Marquis Brewer in front of 1125 Martin Luther King Blvd. on Feb. 3. Johnson is now facing two counts of murder and a manslaughter charge in that case.

On Jan. 30, police say Johnson was one of several suspects who shot a 19-year-old man in the torso. The group allegedly ran off and the victim was taken to the hospital, where he was treated and released. Johnson has been charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon in that incident.
