NORWALK - Norwalk police are searching for the suspect accused of robbing a Mobil gas station at gunpoint Thursday night.

Authorities say the incident happened at around 11 p.m. on North Avenue. They add that the suspect, who is believed to be familiar with the station's convenience store, walked in with a handgun and demanded money.

Police say store workers do not keep a large amount of money in the register and that the suspect only left with a small sum. However, they say they want him off the streets immediately because he is armed.
