Pres. Obama presides over dedication ceremony of new 9/11 Memorial Museum

MANHATTAN - A somber ceremony took place in lower Manhattan today as President Obama joined survivors, families of victims, and first responders for a dedication of the 9/11 memorial museum.

Organizers say that the exhibits honor nearly 3,000 people who died on Sept. 11 as well as in the attack on the World Trade Center in 1993.

The ceremony included speeches from survivors of 9/11.

Artifacts inside the museum range from helmets to shoes to pictures of victims like Adam Lewis of Fairfield.

The museum opens to the public on Wednesday.
