A call to Wulfhop's family was not returned.
Wulfhop used the credit card to make purchases at a local store and to take out cash advances, police said. Police did not put a dollar figure on the amount of the charges Wulfhop allegedly ran up.
He was arraigned in Putnam Valley Town Court on felony charges of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and fourth-degree grand larceny. He faces up to four years in prison if convicted. He was ordered held in lieu of $5,000 bail at the Putnam County Jail.
