Re-integration event held in Tarrytown for New York National Guard soldiers who recently returned from deployment in Afghanistan

TARRYTOWN - More than 600 New York Army National Guard soldiers and family members of the 101st Expeditionary Signal Battalion took part in the New York Army National Guard's Yellow Ribbon Re-integration Program today.

The event was held at the Marriott Hotel in Tarrytown.

Most of the soldiers who attended had returned from deployment to Afghanistan in June.

The event gave advice and information to combat veterans and their families about how to adjust to life at home after spending time on the battlefield.
