Roderick Rodgers, 18, charged with murder, attempted murder in shootings that left 4 injured, 1 dead

Rodgers allegedly opened fire on a group of people last Tuesday.

BRIDGEPORT - A Bridgeport teen accused of shooting five people, one of whom died from his injuries, was arraigned Tuesday.

Roderick Rodgers, 18, was charged with murder and attempted murder for allegedly opening fire at Reservoir and Trumbull avenues last week. Christopher Pettway, 26, was killed in the shooting.

Police say the incident stemmed from a shooting earlier in the summer.

Rodgers is being held on $1 million bond.
