After a well-received visit during the spring of 2011, actor Dustin Diamond,  who's known as Screech, returned to the Nutty Irishman of Farmingdale on Saturday, July 7.

Best known for his work as a cast member of the  early '90s teen sit-com “Saved by the Bell,” Diamond currently makes frequent appearances at clubs around the country, but his acting career remains active. His latest film “Little Creeps” (co-starring “Bell” cast mate Lark  Voorhies) is available for home rental.

Diamond was to be live at the Nutty, at 323 Main St., starting sometime after 9 p.m., with other features of the night including a live performance from cover band Nine Deeez Nite, DJ Cory P spinning party music, drink specials and the evening’s Ultimate Fighting Championship match (UFC 148: Silva vs. Sonnen) playing on the house screens.

Anticipate a cover charge around $10 for a 21-and-over crowd. For more information head online to thenuttyirishman.com or facebook.com/Nutty-Irishman-Farmingdale-Fan-Page.
