Interested in lowering your energy bills and making your home more efficient? A seminar taking place Tuesday evening in Chappaqua can help you do just that.

The event, "Energize New Castle," is sponsored by the New Castle Sustainability Advisory Board and will take place at the Chappaqua Library, 195 S. Greeley Ave., in Chappaqua at 7 p.m.

Energy expert Dick Kornbluth will provide information to help homeowners understand how their homes waste energy, how it can be fixed and how to take advantage of state incentives to help increase home comfort, reduce utility costs, improve indoor air quality and lower overall carbon emissions.

A panel of community members will share its experiences on home upgrades with the town's new Energize program. Brian Kaminer, co-chairman of Slow Money NYC, also will speak briefly on home energy efficiency.
