COLD SPRING - Two local families who lost loved ones in the deadly train derailment over the weekend will start saying their goodbyes later this week.

Wake services will be held for Jim Lovell on Thursday in Cold Spring followed by a funeral on Friday morning.

The 58-year-old from Lake Valhalla in Putnam County was a technician with NBC's “Today Show.” He was heading to Rockefeller Center Sunday morning from his home when tragedy struck.

James Ferrari, 59, of Montrose, was also killed in the derailment. Wake services will be held for him tomorrow in Verplanck followed by a funeral on Thursday morning in Montrose.
