Rudy returns to speaking ... for a price

WASHINGTON - Rudy Giuliani is going back out on the stump - for a fee.

The Washington Speakers Bureau has posted on its Web site that Giuliani once again is available for speaking engagements, but it says to contact it for how much the talk will cost.

Giuliani charged $100,000 an address - splitting it 80/20 with the bureau - before he stopped giving paid speeches last year to focus on his run for the Republican presidential nomination.

In 2006 and early 2007, Giuliani made nearly $12 million from speaking fees, according to a financial disclosure form he filed last year.

On the campaign plane to California to quit the race and endorse John McCain, Giuliani told reporters he probably would return to the speaking circuit, saying it was something he enjoyed.

He also said he and his wife, Judith, would be weighing whether to change how he has organized his professional life into four areas: his consulting firm, Giuliani Partners; his law firm, Bracewell & Giuliani; his paid speaking engagements; and his campaigning for Republicans.

Giuliani spokeswoman Sunny Mindel had no comment last night.
