A dedicated violinist, Centereach High School’s Anna Prigl serves as concertmaster in the philharmonic, chamber and pit orchestras.

 

She has performed in events sponsored by SCMEA, LISFA, and NYSCAME, and participated in the 2011 New York All-State Symphony Orchestra, where she sat as Principal Second Violin. Anna has performed in the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra for the past two years, and is a member of the Stony Brook Undergraduate Orchestra.

In addition to her performance activities, Anna is a member of the Math Team, Spanish and Tri-M Music Honor Societies, where she holds positions of leadership. This year she is the president of the Tri-M Music Honor Society. Academically, Anna is ranked fourth in her class and is an AP Scholar with Honors with her sights on completing eight AP courses by the end of this school year.

Anna hopes to pursue a career in business and finance and participate in her college’s undergraduate orchestra.
