Erick Celedonio of Oceanside High School is a remarkable student with exceptional talent on violin, clarinet, piano and in vocal music.

In addition to his musical talents, he is a successful athlete and student. He holds membership in The National Honor Society, The Tri-M Music Honor Society, and The Foreign Language Honor Society.

During the summer of 2013, Erick received a scholarship to attend New York Summer School of the Arts  in Saratoga where he served as assistant concert master. Since then, he was featured as a member of the NYSSMA All-State Orchestra that performed this month in Rochester. Last Spring, he was selected for the All Eastern orchestra, and represented New York in Nashville, TN as a member of the All National Orchestra. These two ensembles were sponsored by the National Association for Music Education.

In his spare time, Erick performs with the Children's Orchestra Society and has participated in the Long Island String Festival Association (LISFA) and the Suffolk County Music Educators All County Orchestra every year since he was in fifth grade.

Erick will be pursuing a degree in aeronautical engineering next year.
