Jacqueline Aquino of Elmont Memorial High Schoolhas always strived for excellence in her theater work.

Jacquelinehas appeared in theatrical productions such as Guys and Dolls and 42nd Street. For the third year in a row she performed in the Sewanhaka All-District Chorus and for the past six years she performed in the Nassau Music Educators Association’s All-County Chorus. This month, she appeared in Rochester as part of the NYSSMA All-State Women’s Choir. Jacqueline also participates in the school’s Vocal Jazz Choir and the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra’s Choral ensemble performing at Carnegie Hall in the spring.

Ranked in the top seven percent of her class, Jacqueline serves as the Vice President of the class of 2012, President of the National Tri-M Music Honor Society, and is a member of the National Honor Society. She plans on a dual major of Accounting and Musical Theatre in college.
