Jenny Park, a Bethpage High School senior, is a talented artist with sights on a career in architecture.
In addition to enrolling in every art class offered at her school, she studies art privately. Jenny was thrilled when she was awarded the title “First Place” and “Best in Show” for a pastel piece she submitted to the Woman’s Club competition on the state level in 2009. During the summer of 2010 she received a $1,000 merit scholarship to attend a summer program at the Pratt Institute where she enhanced her architectural skills.
Jenny is a well-rounded student, a Senator on the school’s Student Council and a member of the National Honor Society.
