Shannon Romig, of Long Beach High School has made her mark as a champion Irish Step Dancer, competing and earning medals across the United States.

In addition to her achievements in dance, she serves as Vice President of the National Honor Society, co-editor of Fragments, the school’s Literary Magazine, President of the Future Physician’s Club, Co-President of the Junior Ancient Order of Hibernians, and Secretary/Treasurer of the Senior Class.

Shannonis a member of the Foreign Language Honor Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society, Chamber Orchestra, and Key Club. She has been singing as a member of the Saint Agnes Choir for seven years and served as the student chairperson for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life for the past three years.

Shannon has organized volunteer dance performances at Long Beach, Mercy and  Winthrop Hospitals, Park Avenue Extended Care, Camp A.N.C.H.O.R, Camp Adventure, and the Atria Assisted Living.
