Pace University will host a Hurricane Sandy Relief Charity Basketball Game at 7 p.m. Saturday at the school's Goldstein Athletic Center gym, 861 Bedford Rd., Pleasantville.
The Harlem Magic Masters will play the Police and Fire All Stars, members of local fire and police departments, to raise funds for the first responders who suffered loss in superstorm Sandy.
The money raised will benefit the New York Police Disaster Relief Fund and the Greybeards Organization, formed after Sept. 11 and comprised of both active and retired police and firemen located primarily in the Breezy Point and Rockaway areas.
The event will have music by DJCatch1, and Main Street Sweets will provide treats.
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the door or in advance at Weldon's Stationer's, 1161 Pleasantville Rd., Briarcliff Manor; Try and Buy, 45 Washington Ave., Pleasantville, and the Village Bookstore, 10 Washington Ave., Pleasantville.
The participating town fire and police departments are Archville, Briarcliff Manor, Chappaqua, Croton, Irvington, Ossining, Sleepy Hollow, and Tarrytown.
