In the lobby after 'Twilight'
Newsday columnist Beth Whitehouse talked to "Twilight" fans Friday night after they had seen the much-awaited movie the Farmingdale Multiplex. The movie is based on a four-book saga by Stephenie Meyer
M aureen Beriloff, 27, Farmingdale "I thought Edward was better than she [Bella] was at acting. He was more passionate. I felt like everything was clips. It didn t flow nicely." Matthew Beriloff, 27, Farmingdale "The relationship with the father was good. There s no way they could fit everything in a two-hour movie."
Andi Morris, 16, Melville "All the Cullens fit the book really well. I didn t like Bella [Swan] s friends."
Mindy Seldon, 49, Plainview "It was very sweet and romantic. The whole appeal, I think, is this girl falls in love with danger."
Blanca Tovar, 14, Deer Park "My favorite character is Jacob Black. He s the opposite of what everyone goes to. I find him more attractive than Edward [Cullen]."
Jenna Satnick, 16, Melville "Until the end I was a little disappointed. In the book you really fall in love with them as a couple."
