A South Nyack man whose alcohol level was three times the legal limit was arrested Tuesday afternoon when an officer spotted him swerving in his pickup truck in Orangeburg, police said.

Gustavo Dash, 56, was driving his 2012 Nissan truck erratically on Orangeburg Road when he was stopped around 2:40 p.m., Orangetown police said.

Dash was taken into custody after the officer saw that he could not stand up on his own, police said. The suspect was taken to police headquarters and took a breath test in which his blood alcohol content was three times the legal driving limit of .08 percent, police said.
