Delgado progresses in rehab, will run next week
Despite the Mets' insistence that Carlos Delgado isn't expected back much earlier than Aug. 15, he continued to show progress from hip surgery Wednesday by taking ground balls at first. Delgado only began hitting soft-toss pitches this week and looked fairly mobile in scooping up 25-30 grounders.
