Is Hughes replacing Bruney?

Joe Girardi repeated the phrase several times Tuesday night in explaining his decision to go with Brian Bruney in the eighth inning, even after Phil Hughes breezed through Seattle in nine pitches in the seventh. After watching Bruney give up two runs that night, allowing Seattle to tie it, Girardi maintained, "Bruney's our eighth-inning guy.''
