I'd qualify it as a non-shocker that Stephen Strasburg and the Nationals came to terms at "11:58 and 43 seconds" last night, to quote Nats president Stan Kasten.
Both sides had too much to lose by not finding common ground. Washington, playing in a city that has not at all caught Nationals Fever, needed to show itself as a serious operation wtih serious ambitions. And the odds...
