Recap: With nothing left to play for, Met fans came to Citi Field to see Jose Reyes extend his NL-leading batting average over Milwaukee's Ryan Braun. After a bunt single in his first at-bat, manager Terry Collins removed Reyes from the game. The modest crowd at Citi Field booed the move on what could be Reyes' last game as a Met (he's a free agent). Reyes ends the 2011 season with a .337 average as the Mets defeated the Reds, 3-0.
Key stat: Mets starter Miguel Batista pitched a complete game shutout.
