WASHINGTON - A Mets staffer goofed Friday when inadvertently sharing general manager Sandy Alderson's credit card information in an email to members of the New York media.

Alderson's credit card number, security code, expiration date and ZIP code wound up in the email.

Apparently, Alderson had been hoping to score last-minute tickets to see "The Lion King" this weekend, and the email appeared to be directed to somebody on Broadway capable of landing the tickets.

The staffer immediately sent another email apologizing for the confusion and asking for the email to be disregarded.
