The Nationals have made it official: Stephen Strasburg will start against the Mets on Saturday in Washington. Strasburg (2-2, 2.27) will be coming off his poorest start in the big leagues. He allowed three earned runs in a 5-0 loss to Tim Hudson and the Braves on Monday night in Atlanta. Strasburg has struck out 48 batters in 31 2/3 innings.

The Mets will start R.A. Dickey (6-1, 2.98), who was beaten by the Marliins in San Juan three days ago.
