Jerry Manuel referred to them as "demons" or "rascals." Others prefer ghosts or goblins. They are the lingering memories of the infamous 2007 collapse, and with the Mets about to begin another September push for the playoffs, all that's left is to cue up the ominous soundtrack, perhaps from "I Know What You Did Last Summer."
