Curtis Granderson spoke to students at Abraham Lincoln High School in Brooklyn on Monday morning, emphasing Jackie Robinson's importance to baseball and his enduring legacy in improving race relations in society.
Granderson spoke on Jackie Robinson Day and treated the students to a showing of the new Robinson biopic, "42."
Yankees GM Brian Cashman and catcher Francisco Cervelli also attended the event.
