Madoff author backpedals on Mets sale
Erin Arvedlund, author of a book on the Bernie Madoff scandal, backpedaled today from her claims that the Wilpons would have to sell the Mets, perhaps as early as 2010. Arvedlund was a guest on WFAN and hedged quite a bit when asked about her insistence that the Wilpons, who reportedly lost $700 million to Madoff, would need to sell or pick up an investor to help cover their losses.
