Giants give Chris Snee $43.5 million extension
The Giants and guard Chris Snee have agreed on a six-year extension that will pay him an average annual salary of $6.875 million with $17 million in guarantees including a $13.5 million signing bonus.
There are also incentives in the agreement that can drive the total value of the agreement to $43.5 million.
Snee would have been a free agent following this season. The top guard in free agency this season was Alan Faneca, who signed a five-year, $40 million deal with the Jets that included $21 million in guarantees.
