Braves 5, Padres 3: Chipper Jones homered and Jair Jurrjens
(4-2) pitched six strong innings as Atlanta improved to 12-4 at home, best in the NL.
Marlins 3, Brewers 0: Scott Olsen (4-1) allowed two hits in 8 2/3 innings and Mike Jacobs hit a two-run homer to lead host Florida in front of 10,113.
Cubs 3, Reds 0: Carlos Zambrano (5-1) allowed only three hits in eight innings and Ronny Cedeño singled home a pair of runs for visiting Chicago.
Pirates 12, Giants 6: Nate McLouth homered twice and drove in three runs and Zach Duke (1-2) won for the first time in nearly a year for host Pittsburgh.
Astros 6, Nationals 5: Lance Berkman had five hits and scored four runs and Carlos Lee had three RBIs for host Houston.
Union concerned
The players' association has expressed concern to the commissioner's office over the lack of offers to Barry Bonds, asking for additional information about the offseason's free-agent market.
