When the Sept. 1 call-ups roll around, the Mets might want to take a long look at young pitchers Jenrry Mejia and Jeurys Familia.

Although no decision has been made, Terry Collins said if Mejia gets the three or four more starts he needs at Triple-A Buffalo, he definitely will be a candidate to be added to the mix when the rosters expand.

“Sandy [Alderson] and I haven’t talked about September things just yet,” Collins said, “but I’m hoping to get a look at those young arms, yes.”

...The Mets designated LHP Garrett Olson for assignment ... The Mets have lost 21 of their last 29.
