Mets' Ike Davis ready to fill Mark Teixeira's shoes for Team USA if asked

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Mets first baseman Ike Davis said on Wednesday morning that Team USA has not reached out to him about filling in for the injured Mark Teixeira at the World Baseball Classic. But if he were to get the call, Davis said he would answer it.
"I would go ... as soon as they asked," Davis said.
