Mets' Shaun Marcum to miss next start with shoulder impingement
KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- Mets starting pitcher Shaun Marcum had a cortisone shot on Tuesday after he was diagnosed with an impingement in his right shoulder, the team announced Wednesday. The righthander will be sidelined for a few days.
Marcum, who signed with the Mets this winter, was brought in to round out the starting rotation. But he also has a long history of elbow and shoulder issues.
