R.A. Dickey named finalist for NL Cy Young Award; Robinson Cano named finalist for AL MVP

As expected, R.A. Dickey has been named a finalist for the National League Cy Young Award along with the Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw and the Nationals' Gio Gonzalez.
Dickey became the first Mets' 20-game winner since Frank Viola in 1990. The Mets had a down year, finishing with a 74-88 record and fourth in the AL East, but Dickey managed to go 20-6 with a 2.73 ERA and 230 strikeouts.
