The Mets' game against the Colorado Rockies scheduled for Wednesday at Coors Field has been postponed because of snow.

The teams will play just a single game Thursday at 3:10 p.m. to wrap up the series. No additional information has been released on when the game will be made up.

The Yankees are on the verge of acquiring outfielder Vernon Wells from the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Newsday's Anthony Rieber has confirmed.
