MILWAUKEE -- If Rockies stars Troy Tulowitzki and Carlos Gonzalez wind up on the trading block, the Mets intend to be suitors, according to a report in the New York Post.

MILWAUKEE -- Rival clubs have reached out to the Mets about trading for second baseman Daniel Murphy, who is coming off his first appearance in the All-Star Game.

MILWAUKEE -- Wilmer Flores will hit seventh and start at shortstop tonight when the Mets open a four-game set against the Brewers.

SEATTLE -- Eric Young Jr. worked quickly to win a few new fans, just moments after nearly wiping them out while in pursuit of a foul ball.
