Sore right hip hampers Mets' Delgado again
Carlos Delgado's right hip again has forced him out of the lineup, raising concern about the injury to the Mets first baseman and whether a stint on the disabled list is a possibility.
Delgado, who missed five starts with discomfort in the same area before returning to the lineup May 4, said the injury is an "inflammation in the hip joint."
