Back when this blog community was larger, we often debated whether Carlos Delgado was somehow stifling David Wright in the Mets' clubhouse. Yesterday, I discussed that issue with Wright, and wrote a column about it.

--For my Insider, I wrote about Jermaine Dye, Kevin Long, Mike Pelfrey and Jose Reyes, among other items.

Speaking of Reyes, he is in the news this morning because he spoke with the FBI on Thursday about his involvement with a controversial doctor. We'll see how this plays out, but based on the way Reyes has handled this - he addressed this matter back in December - it seems as though he has nothing to hide. If he does have something to hide, then his agents have been negligent in their handling of this.

--David Lennon wrote a good piece about Darryl Strawberry's reaching out to Jeff Francoeur. The Yankees camp is overflowing with former team greats - Yogi Berra, Goose Gossage, Reggie Jackson, Tino Martinez, Graig Nettles and Mickey Rivers, just off the top of my head. Here at Mets camp, it's pretty much just Straw. But he is still larger-than-life, and he injects some appreciated bravado into the scene.

--Erik Boland wrote a good piece on Andy Pettitte, and addressed Robinson Cano's desire to hit better with runners in scoring position.
