Top outfield prospect Aaron Judge, 22, tied Tuesday’s game with a towering ninth-inning, two-out, three-run homer to left off Phillies efty Mario Hollands.
“I was just trying to go out there and find a good pitch,” said the 6-7, 255-pound Judge, the Yankees’ first-round pick in the 2013 draft, in his first big-league camp.
“I’m trying to make it as hard as I can for them to send me back across the street to minor league (camp).”
Girardi shook his head, as he usually does when discussing Judge.
“He’s just big,” Girardi said. “He’s just big and strong.”
