A.J. Burnett threw eight shutout innings and Robinson Cano added three hits, including two home runs, as the Yanks concluded their nine-game road trip with a 4-0 win over the Orioles. Erik Boland has all the details here of Cano's big night.

Boland also reports that the Yanks had talked about making a roster move but decided not to after Jorge Posada told Joe Girardi that he would be the emergency catcher. Posada left Wednesday's game after getting hit in the right knee.

Andy Petttitte takes a 3-0 record with a 1.39 ERA into tonight's game against the White Sox at the Stadium. Yet, the 37-year-old lefty isn't wowed by his own success, telling Boland that "things have gone like really right for me" in his first four starts.
