Brett Gardner's two-out grand slam against Bartolo Colon on Monday turned out to be inconsequential in an eventual Mets victory.
But, in the 100th game the teams have played against each other, Gardner's home run was just the seventh grand slam either team has hit. The Yankees have hit five of them, the Mets two.

The Yankees have avoided arbitration and agreed to one-year deals with Brett Gardner, Ivan Nova and David Robertson, according to multiple reports.
Gardner will make $5.6 million, according to multiple reports. Robertson is due to earn $5.215 million, according to Jon Heyman. Nova will make $3.3 million according to Joel Sherman.
