Major-league rosters expand Saturday, and the Yankees are expected to add catcher Francisco Cervelli, infielder Eduardo Nuñez, outfielder Chris Dickerson, righthanded pitchers Cory Wade and Adam Warren and lefthander Justin Thomas.

Nuñez and Wade started the season with the Yankees before various performance issues -- poor pitching by Wade and too many errors by Nuñez -- prompted their demotions. A very unhappy Cervelli found out the final day of camp that he would start the season in Triple-A when the team traded for Chris Stewart.

Dickerson played in 60 games with the 2011 Yankees. Warren lost a spot start against the White Sox on June 29. The Yankees claimed Thomas off waivers from the Red Sox in May.
