With just a week left in the season, it looks like we can officially hand out our "Most absurd technical foul of the year" award to Delonte West.

The Mavericks' mercurial guard decided to jam his finger in Gordon Hayward's ear during the second quarter of Dallas' triple-overtime loss to the Jazz last night.

West was charged with a technical, but not ejected, which set off Utah's announcing team. They probably had a point, too, considering West's clear intent to, well, give Hayward a not-so-wet-Willie.

Be prepared for a follow-up blog post highlighting how much West has been fined by the NBA.
