NBA history in OKC
The trio of teammates were the first to combine for a 50-point game, 40-point game and triple double the same night.
Durant scored 51, a career high and 2011-12 NBA-high, Westbrook dropped 40, and Ibaka registered his first career triple-double with 14 points, 15 rebounds and (surprise!) 11 blocks.
Durant shot 19-for-28 from the field, 5-for-6 from three and 8-for-10 from the line. He added eight rebounds. Wesbtrook was 16-for-29 from the field, 3-for-6 from three and 5-for-5 from the line.
Adding to the trio's big nights, Durant (+19), Westbrook (+22) and Ibaka (+31) combined for a plus/minus of +72. The rest of the Thunder lineup was -42.
Arron Afflalo led the Nuggets with 27 points.
According to NBA.com's John Schuhmann, the last teammates to score 50 points and 40 points in the same game were Kiki Vandeweghe (51) and Alex English (47) for the Nuggets in a triple-overtime game on Dec. 13, 1983.
