Report: J.R. Smith leaning toward Knicks, Clippers

According to an ESPN report, the Knicks and Clippers are the favorites to land free agent shooting guard J.R. Smith.
Smith, who is locked into a contract in the CBA, will be free to sign with an NBA team once he receives FIBA clearance. His CBA team failed to make the playoffs, and the league's regular season ended Feb. 15, opening the door for him to return to the United States.
