Patrick Ewing may finally get his shot to take over as head coach of an NBA team.
According to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski, the Orlando Magic assistant coach and former Knicks center will interview with the Charlotte Bobcats for their vacant head coaching position.
The Bobcats fired Paul Silas after the team finished 7-59, the worst record in NBA history.

Nicolas Batum made a really nice move in transition to get to the hoop last night. Unfortunately, Serge Ibaka was there waiting.
Batum crossed over Thabo Sefolosha near the three-point line, and looked set to end the break with a dunk. Hustling back, though, was Ibaka, who soared across the paint and rejected the Blazers forward.
