Steve Novak never says anything to stir up things, but he drilled Nate Robinson after the little Bulls guard mocked him.

After Robinson hit a pair of jumpers in the second quarter, he did the discount double-check that Novak has made his signature move following a big three-pointer.

Novak wasn’t too happy about that and uncharacteristically retaliated with a biting remark.

“It warms my heart, it really does,” Novak said. “The best part about doing the belt is hearing the stories of all the little kids around the world that hit a 3-pointer and do the belt.

“You know, one day when little Nathan grows up, I hope that his dreams come true and he can be just like me.”

The Knicks lost the game, 108-101, though, and have dropped three straight for the first time this season.
